Thanks much, Brad

This winter has been a hard one for us... I haven't had the time or energy to do as much as I'd like regarding Authentic Agriculture... We are still moving ahead, just very slowly. Thanks for being interested!!

Stay tuned, and patient..

Howdy all,

I stumbled across your site this morning. Actually I was looking for it. I still have your original Authentic Ag post and Tom's inner farm post hanging on the wall. Great idea's that I am trying to put into my place. Your post has taking me many ways in the past year in thinking of how I was going to redo things. It's coming around slowly, but I'm finding alot of natural things that are working to help reduce farm costs and keep with most of the principles.

Thanks for the help,

Hi brother John:

I know I am a little late in commenting on this post, but I am trying to stay in one place long enough to get caught up on things.

I enjoyed this post, it really resonates with me.

Wisdom in Creation is a foundational truth of the Theology of the Land.

Preach it John, and let's shout it from the roof tops until it is acknowledged, at least by some Christians.

God Bless

Fascinating article! Us city folk who do our best reading about "authentic" agriculture are all too clueless as to the realities of the bitter cold. We have it tough in the upper US in oh-so-many ways. Keep up your stories "from the trenches" -- I'll be interested to hear how things continue to unfold throughout the chilly months.

We have the same inefficiencies up here. Our pigs aren't really big enough yet to butcher (our neighbor had pigs out of the same litter and by Sept. were big enough to butcher), so we are trying to figure out ways to keep them cozy until we can do the deed. Please tell Lisa that our pigs act just like pet dogs -- a bit too friendly!

Congratulations on your new blog and website! We are so glad to be tracking with you.

The boys and I returned last Thurs. from my folks' in northern MN. We had thought of trying extend our visit long enough to help at the "Sweat for Food" day, but car trouble and Jim already holding down the fort for 8 days kept us from coming. Hopefully we can make it another time.

Good luck in your venture. It looks very interesting! I hail from Minnesota originally, and am as concerned as you at all the big retailers and groceries jumping on the "local" bandwagon because they want to cash in on the movement. I am a PhD student and researcher interested in smallholders, New Christian agrarianism, and homesteaders. I think this site will interest many. I will pass this along to people that I know....
